Fees

For all sessions which are not funded fees will be charged on a sessional basis. The current fees are £6.25 per hour for all ages and including Preschool, Breakfast and Afterschool Club sessions plus £1.10 for a light snack if children are booked for afterschool wraparound care. There is a minimum booking of 1 hour for wraparound care and 3 hours for pre-School sessions. The fees are reviewed annually.

Council funding is available for all children from the start of the first funding period after their third birthday. The funding entitles each child to a specified number of hours per academic year of free childcare. We are able to accommodate children who qualify for 2 year old funding (benefits related funding) and the ‘Working Families’ early years funding for 2 and 3 year olds, but the number of hours available may be restricted by the availability of sessions. Parents must sign a consent form and provide the relevant information in order for the ‘Working Families’ funding to be claimed. It is the parents responsibility to ensure they revalidate the ‘Working Families’ code, once the code becomes invalid then fees will be charged to the parent. For both universal 15 hour funding and ‘Working Families’ funding parents will be given a funding form at the start of each term to sign which will enable us to claim funding on your behalf. When you make your first claim for funding you will also have to provide documentation to prove your child’s age, for example a birth certificate or passport. Please speak with a member of staff if you are unsure.

Fees continue to be payable if a child is absent through ill health or holidays.  In case of prolonged absence, parents should contact the pre-school and enquire about reduced fees.  Each child’s attendance at the group is conditional upon continued payment of any necessary fees.

Four School Term weeks notice, in writing, must be given of the intention to reduce the sessions or to remove a child from Lympsham Pre-School, fees will be charged during this notice period.

Parents will receive an invoice for any fees due at the end of each month and the instructions for payment are listed on the invoice.

Please read our Fees Policy for full details of fees and funding procedures at Lympsham Pre-School.
