Digital Leaders

December 24 – We have had a busy term and this has resulted in a number of updates being added to the Online safety section of the website which you can access by clicking here

It includes updates on Artificial Intelligence, a nifty site for testing that filters are working on your child’s device as well as templates for the ‘Gameplan’ and ‘Healthy Me’ initiatives.

October 24 – Our new Digital Leaders have been elected and were presented with their badges by members of last year’s group at their first Collective Worship when they share their plans for the year. These are to audit all the school’s devices in line with the mandatory changes in software coming in November 2025, leading safety online ideas and online safety Collective Worship’s and most importantly to help to update parents via the school website and bulletin.

December 23 to July 24 – our ongoing project for this school year is to subscribe to BBC Mico:bit and then get to understand this excellent resource so that we can pass this on to our fellow pupil. We wrote to the BBC by email to thank them once we had received it and got a very nice reply too. We are now keeping very busy during our regular ‘Working Lunches’ with Mrs Pennington, getting to grips with it.
