January 25 – Digital leaders have decided they would like to train for and run a lunch time IT session. They are going to have training on Microbits and other APPs so they feel confident to share this with 2 members of their class per session (picked randomly in classes for those who wish to attend. This will be introduced  by the DLs in CW.

It includes updates on Artificial Intelligence, a nifty site for testing that filters are working on your child’s device as well as templates for the ‘Gameplan’ and ‘Healthy Me’ initiatives.

December 23 to July 24 – our ongoing project for this school year is to subscribe to BBC Mico:bit and then get to understand this excellent resource so that we can pass this on to our fellow pupil. We wrote to the BBC by email to thank them once we had received it and got a very nice reply too. We are now keeping very busy during our regular ‘Working Lunches’ with Mrs Pennington, getting to grips with it.
