School Lunches
If your child in in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 they are entitled to the UIFSM (universal free school meal). Please obtain a form from reception to fill in so that the school can claim the cost of this back.
If your child is in year 3 or 4 then the standard cost from September 2025 is £2.90 per meal. Meals can be ordered on the My Child At School (MCAS) app and for children in years 3 and 4 these are paid at the time of ordering.
Children in receipt of FSM (Free School Meals) through Pupil Premium will not be charged for lunches in years 3 and 4 for as long as they remain eligible, but meals will still need to be ordered through MCAS.
From September 2026 all households receiving Universal Credit will be eligible for free school meals, removing the current £7,400 net income cap.
